Welcome! My name is Jacob Tyler Mowery, Creator of Practical Screenwriting.

I teach people to write meaningful, clear stories. I've worked with writers from all walks of life. This includes Hollywood screenwriters, staffed sitcom writers, indie feature filmmakers, bootstrapped low-budget filmmakers, hometown hobbyist writers, and everyone in between.

I've taken an unusual career path as I strive to write great stories and teach others to do the same.
